The post-credit scene featured Boba Fett and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) return to Jabba the Hutt’s old palace, where his former underling Bib Fortuna (Matthew Wood) is seemingly running his enterprise.
Boba and Fennec easily dispatch Bib and the rest of his underlings, with the post-credit scene showing Boba sitting on a throne, taking over Jabba’s territory, which leads into the new spin-off.
While it was never fully revealed how Boba Fett survived his encounter with the Sarlacc, the new 30-second trailer teases a bit of his recovery, hinting we finally may find out, after all these years, how he survived the Sarlacc Pit.

The trailer begins with Fett putting on his iconic helmet – which he earned back from The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) in Season 2.
‘I am Boba Fett. Left for dead on the sands of Tatooine,’ he says in voice over, while a new shot shows Fett recovering in what appears to be a bacta tank.
The bacta tank is the same form of recovery used by Anakin Skywalker as he morphed into the villainous Darth Vader.
