MANHATTAN — The New York City premiere of ‘Murdaugh: Death in the Family’ was held on Monday night at Disney headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

The cast and creatives of the new Hulu docu-series walked the green carpet.

The docu-series is based on the shocking true story of a prominent attorney, father and husband turned convicted killer.

Jason Clark transforms into Alex Murdaugh, and Patricia Arquette plays his wife Maggie.

Entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo spoke to the stars about the show.

“I wanted to pay tribute to all these women, particularly those who face abuse, often from their partners, experiencing any type of violence. So, my aim was to honor them,” shared Arquette.

“I recognized how this man managed to deceive so many people. Looking back, everyone now realizes he was harmful, but you must understand that it wasn’t just the family, Maggie and Paul, but the entire community who felt betrayed,” explained Clark.

The first three episodes of ‘Murdaugh: Death in the Family’ drop on Hulu on Wednesday.
