JOE Biden has been blasted for making a joke about Christianity as he slurred through a bitter rant about President Donald Trump on The View.

The 82-year-old also made a shocking admission about Kamala Harris’ election loss as he moaned about Trump’s first 100 days in office.

When the doting panel first brought up Trump, Biden made it clear that he hasn’t been happy since leaving the White House.

Upon the first mention of his competitor, both he and Ana Navarro quickly made the sign of the cross, drawing a burst of laughter from the delighted audience.

The former president described Trump’s initial 100 days as the “worst” in American history and criticized, “honesty is not his strong suit,” which received applause from the crowd.

Horrified viewers slammed the former president for his thoughtless move, saying that he made “Christianity a punch line.”

“I’m Catholic and I’m offended,” said one critic on X.

Another person deemed the move “pathetic,” as someone else wrote, “they’re clowns, it isn’t even funny.”

“Ana doesn’t even know how to make the sign of the cross,” exclaimed another observer, pointing out that Navarro mistakenly reached for her right side before the left.

When asked about ex-Vice President Kamala Harris’ embarrassing election loss, Biden blamed “sexism” in America.

“I wasn’t surprised because they went […] the sexist route,” he said of the American people.

He insisted that Harris was fully equipped to serve as president, and stressed that she had her own point of view for how she would lead the country.

Bumbling Biden coughs & mumbles his way through first interview since leaving office…and REFUSES to say Trump’s name

“We argued like hell by the way,” Biden said, adding that it was “good” that the two had disagreements over decisions.

When asked about Harris’ post-election plans, Biden didn’t give a straight answer but said that they keep in constant contact about her next moves.

Meanwhile, Biden praised his own efforts as commander in chief and said he blew expectations out of the water by passing legislation to rebuild from Covid-19.

At one point during the show, Biden mumbled for minutes on end, listing his complaints about Trump’s handling of foreign policy and government spending while the crowd sat in silence.

Despite his apparent struggles, the former president insisted that all reports of his cognitive decline were “false.”

After the show concluded, one stunned viewer wrote, “This is just a nail in the coffin.”

“This is beyond painful.”

FIRST INTERVIEW

Biden’s first post-White House interview was with the BBC on Monday, where he mumbled and coughed through winding answers to the reporter’s questions.

When asked about his last-minute decision to ditch his second-term bid and hand over the baton to Harris, Biden said he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I don’t think it would have mattered,” he said when asked about pulling out of the race earlier.

“We left at a time when we had a good candidate.”

Biden’s future after leaving the White House

AFTER 50 years working in politics, Americans may think that Joe Biden is finally ready to enjoy his retirement.

However, the president has stressed that he isn’t going anywhere.

At 82-years-old Biden is the oldest president in American history, but instead of putting his feet up at his home in Maryland with wife Jill, he said he’s “not going away.”

“There’s so many other things I want to do in terms of the Biden Institute and foreign policy, and the Biden Institute in Delaware on domestic policy,” he said in a September interview with The View.

“To keep the things going that we started, and I think we can get it done.”

Biden is said to also have big plans to build a presidential library in his name, presumably in his home state of Delaware.

At least one Biden administration ambassador was enlisted to help fundraise that project, according to the Associated Press.

Like many presidents before him, Biden will likely enjoy higher approval ratings after his exit as well.

His unpopularity hit a historic low during his final months, but as he fades into the background, people will likely remember him more fondly.

Many of his other endeavors will likely be secret. Because of his advanced age, he almost certainly won’t hold another office and will guide the Democratic Party in private.

Biden’s responses came after his embarrassing performance debating Trump quickly led to him being ushered out of a second term.

In the debate, Biden sputtered and gave unintelligible responses while Trump dominated the stage.

Despite voicing his confidence in Harris ahead of the election, the last-minute nominee suffered a crushing defeat in November, losing a healthy number of electoral and popular votes to her rival.

With his unsteady departure from the White House behind him, Biden told The View hosts that he’s now looking for the right role to ride out his political career.

Timeline of Biden’s failed re-election bid

President Joe Biden endured weeks of calls to step aside before he announced on July 21 that he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential race. Here are key developments leading up to his decision.

June 27: Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump sparks calls for him to step aside. His voice was raspy and he trailed off several times after having already endured questions about his age and mental capacity following a series of blunders at public events.

July 2: Polls after the debate indicate that Trump is pulling ahead. Texas Representative Lloyd Doggett was the first Democratic congressman to publicly urge Biden to drop his bid for re-election, and big Democratic donors issued the same call a day later.

July 5: Biden does a live TV interview with George Stephanopoulos where he tries to quell fears about his age and debate performance. He called the debate “bad night” and said he was under the weather and “exhausted.”

July 10: Vermont Senator Peter Welch becomes the first senator to call for Biden to drop out.

July 11: Biden refers to Ukrainian President Zelensky as President Putin at a NATO event.

July 13: Trump is shot at a campaign rally by a wannabe assassin. His popularity and favorability rating soared after he was seen bloodied on stage but walked off with a fist in the air, telling the crowd to “fight!”

July 17: California Representative Adam Schiff and a series of other Democrats call for Biden to step aside. Even former President Barack Obama tells allies that Biden’s path to victory has “greatly diminished.” Biden tests positive for Covid-19 hours after saying he would consider ending his bid if he were diagnosed with “some medical issue.”

July 19: Biden insists he will continue campaigning in his first statement since Obama’s U-turn, despite reports that he would decide to drop out by the weekend.

July 21: Just before 2 pm, Biden announces he is stepping aside in the 2024 election and endorses Vice President Kamala Harris.
