NEW YORK (WABC) — As we mark the 24th anniversary of 9/11, WABC-TV Channel 7 Eyewitness News is providing streaming coverage of September 11th throughout the years.

The stream includes a rotating selection of content, starting with our acclaimed 2021 documentary, “Eyewitness to 9/11: Behind the Lens.” This documentary narrates September 11th from the viewpoints of the journalists who reported on it, both on the ground and within the Channel 7 studio and newsroom.

Additionally, we will stream seldom-seen extended interviews with our journalists who were key reporters on that day, featuring N.J. Burkett, Joe Torres, Anthony Johnson, Nina Pineda, Lauren Glassberg, and John Del Giorno.

We’re also revisiting our late-night newscast from Sept. 10, 2001, offering a poignant last look at the world as it was just hours before the devastation of the original World Trade Center thrust us into a new, daunting chapter in history.

We include original newscast coverage from the six-month milestone after 9/11. March 11, 2002, marked a historic day as it was the introduction of the Tribute in Light memorial. That year, the iconic twin light beams shone every night for a month, offering some comfort in the skyline following such a tragic period.
