In the video posted to TMZ, Jeremy Piven says the death of Bob Saget has felt “surreal.”

“He was what they call a ‘mensch,'” Piven said. “A very good person, very sweet.” He added, “It’s very surreal because I had reached out to him a couple of days ago and hadn’t heard back from him. It’s so hard to wrap my mind around it.”

While Saget was probably best known for playing Danny Tanner on “Full House,” he made more than one cameo appearance on Piven’s popular (and much less family-friendly) HBO show “Entourage,” where the two actors and comedians undoubtedly spent time together. But it’s clear that Saget meant a lot to Piven. On his Twitter account, Piven didn’t post a personal statement, but he did repost a clip from Jimmy Kimmel’s segment honoring Saget.

Piven’s statement is just the latest in a long line of tributes to Saget from actors and comedians, including Pete Davidson, Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Ken Jeong, Questlove, and many more. It seems there’s no heart that Saget didn’t touch in his too-short time on earth.
