Tina Fey returned to Saturday Night Live with a biting impression of Kristi Noem.

The 55-year-old comedic legend amazed fans with an unexpected return, joining Amy Poehler in a nostalgia-filled cold open to honor five decades since the show’s October 11, 1975, premiere.

Fey strutted into frame beside her longtime BFF, channeling a spot-on dupe of the US Secretary of Homeland Security.

There was no mistaking the character for anything but Noem – from the pale blue power suit to the perfectly-styled brunette curls.

And of course, she made a bold entrance, flashing a large gun she kept gripped at her side for the rest of the sketch.

She introduced herself as ‘Kristi’ with an ‘i,’ mentioning she ‘just thought that’s how it was spelled,’ before quickly nodding to President Donald Trump.

‘I’m the rarest type of person in Washington DC,’ Fey said, deadpan. ‘A brunette that Donald Trump listens to.’

The skit parodied Attorney General Pam Bondi’s intense appearance at a Senate hearing earlier in the week, with Poehler portraying Bondi next to Fey’s exaggerated ‘ICE influencer.’

On Tuesday, in real-world politics, Democratic California Senator Adam Schiff openly listed the questions Bondi had yet to address during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, including those regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files.

During the hearing, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse asked Pam Bondi on why the Justice Department has not looked into ‘hundreds’ of ‘suspicious activity reports’ about Epstein’s finances.

He mentioned ‘public reporting that Jeffrey Epstein showed people photos of President Trump with half-naked young women.’

‘Do you know if the FBI found those photographs in their search of Jeffrey Epstein’s safe or premises or otherwise? Have you seen any such thing?’

Bondi hit back, ‘You know, Senator Whitehouse? You sit here and make salacious remarks, once again, trying to slander President Trump, left and right, when you’re the one who was taking money from one of Epstein’s closest confidants.’

Live from New York City, when asked whether Trump had instructed her to indict James Comey, the fake Attorney General refused to answer.

‘I’m not going to discuss my private conversations with the president,’ Poehler as Bondi said. ‘I’m not telling you who fell asleep in the middle of a sentence, or who kept calling me Ivanka while patting his lap.’

But she also weighed in on the files herself, quipping, ‘I tried reading the Epstein files, but I got really bored. It’s so repetitive. “Trump this, Trump that.” Yawn.’

Moments later, Fey entered, and Poehler stood beside her, both mugging for the camera as if attempting to intimidate the Senate.

Immediately, Fey’s faux Noem declared that the ‘Democrat government shutdown’ must end, prompting a cast member playing a senator to insist that ‘the Democrats are even more eager to end this shutdown than our Republican colleagues.’

With a perfectly straight face, Fey responded, ‘Hah. That makes me laugh more than the end of Old Yeller.’ You know, the one where the dog dies.

The fake Democratic senator noticed the comment as well, glancing around the room at his fellow senators in confusion before pointing out that the dog had been a victim of gun violence.

‘Dogs don’t just get “shot,”‘ Fey replied. ‘Heroes shoot them.’

She continued, telling the on-set Senate that people weren’t getting paid – but thankfully, her ‘ICE boys are in it for the love of the game.’

Taking a jab at both Noem and her officers, Fey shared a brief glimpse of her ‘hiring process’ and how she finds such dedicated men.

‘How did I find them? By running ads like this,’ she began, with Poehler beside her chanting a one-word answer after each question she listed.

‘Do you need a job now? Yeah. Are you a big tough guy? Yeah. Tough enough for the army or police? No,’ they both said.

‘Do you take supplements that you bought at a gas station? Daily. Do you like to use zip ties because people in your life don’t trust you with keys? You know it. Suck on some of these big boy. Welcome to ICE.’

In classic fashion, at the end of the skit, Poehler, as Bondi, asked the Senate if that answered their question – to which one senator deadpanned, ‘No, not even a little bit.’

‘Then our work here is done,’ they said, standing back-to-back and crossing their arms.
