Victoria, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, was reportedly three months pregnant before her tragic death in a San Francisco hotel room.

According to court records acquired by US Magazine, Victoria was expecting as of October, while she was facing misdemeanor charges for public intoxication and resisting arrest in Santa Cruz County.

The court files, as reported by US Magazine, indicate, “Counsel is informed and does believe that Ms. Jones is pregnant.”

Additionally, a death certificate reviewed by the Daily Mail confirms she had been pregnant within the past year, though it doesn’t specify the exact timing.

It’s uncertain if Victoria was still pregnant when she passed away on New Year’s Day at the age of 34.

Victoria had pleaded not guilty to her charges, with documents suggesting she was willing to consider “possible acceptance of diversion terms.”

The San Francisco District Attorney’s website explains that such diversion programs connect ‘eligible defendants with treatment, employment, targeted programming and court supervision to address underlying drivers of crime and “divert” them from the traditional approach of the legal system.

‘Upon successful completion of diversion, defendants can avoid criminal convictions that may make it harder for them to stay on track,’ the District Attorney’s website says.

Victoria had faced legal troubles in the past, leading her famous father to petition for conservatorship in August 2023.

At the time of the filing, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that Victoria was being held at a hospital in Greenbrae under a 14-day psychiatric hold after authorities determined she could be a danger to herself or others. 

The outlet noted that Tommy’s petition said his daughter was appealing the hold and requested that a conservator arrange for her transfer to a drug rehabilitation facility ‘immediately upon her release.’

After a judge granted the request, Tommy later asked the court to dismiss the matter, per the outlet.

The docket shows the judge officially terminated the conservatorship on December 18, 2023.

But as the Men in Black star now grieves the loss of his daughter, he was seen looking frail and leaning heavily on his third wife, Dawn Laurel-Jones, while limping during an outing in San Antonio, Texas.

An insider told the Daily Mail at the time: ‘He is not himself right now.’

‘Tommy is heartbroken. For a tough guy and one that usually has it all together, the stress of losing a child has clearly hit him like a ton of bricks,’ the source added.

Victoria Jones was found unresponsive on the 14th floor of San Francisco’s upscale Fairmont Hotel by a fellow guest in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

She was discovered at the Fairmont after a hotel guest reportedly mistook her for being intoxicated and alerted staff. 

Employees attempted CPR and called paramedics. A 911 call described the incident as a ‘code 3 for the overdose, color change.’

A spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department confirmed: ‘On 1/1/26 at approximately 3:14 a.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to a hotel located on the 900 block of Mason Street regarding a report of a deceased person. ‘

At the scene, officers met with medics, who declared the adult female deceased. The Medical Examiner arrived on scene and conducted an investigation.’

No official cause of death has been released, though reports have cited a suspected overdose amid a history of alleged cocaine and alcohol use.

In the weeks since, troubling details about her final months have surfaced, including past encounters with law enforcement. 

The Daily Mail also obtained a June mugshot showing what appears to be a bruise under her eye.

She was arrested twice in 2025. In April, Napa Valley authorities conducted a wellness check and charged her with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest. 

Court documents note a plastic bag containing a white substance – believed to be cocaine – was found in her pocket at booking. 

She pleaded not guilty and had been scheduled to appear in court later this month.

In June, Victoria was arrested again following a domestic violence incident at Napa’s Carneros Resort and Spa, where rooms start at around $500 per night. 

Separate court filings also show she faced allegations of elder abuse, to which she also pleaded not guilty.

Victoria was born in 1991 and made her screen debut at age 11 with a cameo in her father’s Men in Black II (2002).

She later appeared in a 2005 episode of One Tree Hill and that same year in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, directed by her father.

Though she stepped away from acting as an adult, Victoria occasionally joined Tommy on the red carpet, including the 2017 premiere of Just Getting Started and the Tokyo International Film Festival later that year.

After directing Victoria in his film, Tommy praised her talents in a 2006 interview, calling her ‘a good actress’ who spoke ‘impeccable Spanish.’
