Hollywood actor and photographer Brad Everett Young has died following a car crash in Los Angeles.
Paul Christensen, the representative for the 46-year-old, shared with The Hollywood Reporter that ‘Brad’s dedication to the arts and the individuals involved was unparalleled’.
Young passed away due to a collision on the 134 Freeway when his car was struck by a vehicle going in the wrong direction, as confirmed by his representative.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, whilst the other motorist was rushed to hospital.
Young had roles in Grey’s Anatomy, Boy Meets World and Charlie’s Angels but in later years became well known as a red carpet photographer.
As a photographer, his work encompassed photoshoots for esteemed publications such as The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, People, and Variety. His subjects included Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Harbour, and stars from soap operas like Days Of Our Lives and General Hospital.

Young started acting in the 1990s had bit parts on hit shows including Boy Meets World, Felicity, Grey’s Anatomy and Numb3rs.
He also appeared in movies Love & Basketball, Charlie’s Angels and Jurassic Park III.
His representative also emphasized Young’s grassroots initiative, Dream Loud Official, which aims to preserve and restore music and art programs in schools throughout the U.S.
‘He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official,’ Paul Christensen said.
Chris McKenna, portraying Jack on General Hospital, honored Young on Instagram with a series of Young’s photos. The actor expressed: ‘These were captured just weeks ago by the late @bradley206, and we are unlikely to find another like him.’
Parry Shan, another actor from General Hospital, said: ‘Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met.’
‘But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business, often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity.’
‘He was always striving to make the situation better.’

‘His excitement when pitching a fun idea to shoot was contagious. He also used his talents and platform to restore music and arts programs at schools with Dream Loud Official.’
‘A huge, huge loss. To those who met him at our events, you know. Rest in peace, friend.’
Lily Melgar, known for playing Lilly, on General Hospital added: ‘Rest in paradise, my love. My heart aches as I lose another friend. This is so incredibly tragic… My favorite photographer in L.A., my buddy — a good seed.’
Virginia-born Young came to Los Angeles with plans to attend medical school but decided instead to pursue acting.
‘L.A. was just the place where I could make those decisions with all the job opportunities the town offered,’ he said in a 2015 interview.
‘In the first month here, I went out on my first audition for a TV series, booked it, joined the Screen Actors Guild, and the rest was history.
‘I absolutely fell in love with everything in this business and the journey and strength it takes to accomplish what you want in it.’
