Isabelle Adora Tate, a budding actress and songwriter who recently captured attention with her debut in the premiere episode of “9-1-1: Nashville”, has tragically passed away at the age of 23.

The McCray Agency announced Tate’s untimely death in a heartfelt Facebook post on Tuesday, marking a somber moment for fans and colleagues alike.

“It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of Isabelle Tate’s passing on October 19th at just 23 years old,” said her agent Kim McCray. “I’ve known Izzy since she was a teenager, and she had recently reignited her passion for acting.”

While the cause of her death remains undisclosed, it is known that the Nashville-born actress battled a rare progressive neuromuscular disease, which required her to use a wheelchair.

According to a report by TMZ, Tate was affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a condition that primarily impacts the legs but can also involve vital organs like the lungs and heart, as shared by her agent.

Despite her health challenges, Tate nearly abandoned her acting dreams but found success when she landed a role on “9-1-1: Nashville,” her first auditioned series, McCray shared on social media.

According to Tate’s online obituary, she earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Middle Tennessee State University and was described as someone who “wanted to change the world.”

“Isabelle was full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others,” the obituary reads. “She was also quite musically inclined, often spending hours writing and recording songs with friends and even publishing a few.”

Tate appeared as Julie, one of a group of bachelorette partygoers involved in a crash, in the pilot episode of “9-1-1: Nashville,” which aired on Oct. 9. The newest spinoff in the long-running “9-1-1” franchise stars Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and LeAnn Rimes, among others.
