President Donald Trump’s children seem to hold contrasting opinions regarding his bold military operation in Venezuela.
After the U.S. strike in the South American nation led to the arrest of its president, Nicolas Maduro, Trump’s eldest sons took to social media to voice their approval of their father’s actions.
On Saturday evening, Don Jr. posted on X, stating that Venezuelan citizens are thrilled with the end of the dictatorship they endured.
“In all fairness, there are tens of thousands of Venezuelans in NYC and hundreds of thousands in other cities across America because they had to escape the oppressive regime,” wrote Don, who recently announced his engagement to Bettina Anderson.
“The people of Venezuela and all the Venezuelans I have encountered in South Florida are overjoyed,” he added.
In a Facebook post, Don Jr. further commented: “If we have to go to war, and sometimes we do, I prefer my wars to last minutes, not decades.”
Meanwhile, Eric reposted his father’s announcement telling the world about the raid, and said: ‘The “FAFO” (F*** Around and Find Out) era continues,’ seemingly proud of his father and his administration.
While her brothers commented on the major news, Ivanka decided to focus on the past year in an Instagram post showing snaps of her and her loved ones from 2025.

Meanwhile, President Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, remained quiet about the raid and instead decided to focus on looking back at 2025 as the new year begins
‘Starting the year surrounded by family, fresh air, and grateful hearts,’ Ivanka wrote alongside a carousel of images that featured her and her husband, Jared Kushner, their three children, food, and more.
Trump’s daughter, who previously said she would take a backseat in her dad’s second presidential term, also shared a snap of a bright moon in between clouds.
‘The Wolf Moon rising,’ she wrote. ‘January’s full moon, marking the start of the new year!’
After her father was re-elected last year, Ivanka said she would not be a part of his administration like she was the first go around.
‘I hate politics,’ Ivanka previously told Lauryn and Michael Bosstick, the hosts of The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast.
She further stated that although she is an advocate for ‘policy and impact,’ there is a ‘darkness’ to politics she does not want to be a part of.
Despite that, Ivanka still shows her political support here and there.
In October, when a ceasefire was brokered in Gaza, bringing an end to the Israel-Hamas war, Ivanka stood proudly alongside Kushner at a rally in Tel Aviv, touting ‘lasting and enduring peace.’

The 43-year-old, who converted to Judaism in 2009, told the crowd: ‘Tonight, we honor the strength of every family waiting, praying, and believing. We’re all praying for Monday and beyond.
‘I am in awe of their strength and conviction in spite of such suffering… As we embark on the next chapter, which, God willing, after far too long, will be a lasting and enduring peace.’
Ivanka also brought a message to Israelis from her father.
‘He sees you, he hears you, he stands with you, always,’ she told the crowd to thunderous cheers.
The crowd broke out in ‘thank you, Trump’ chants as they held signs of the hostages and even one of the president’s official portraits.
‘We pray this week is one of healing for you all,’ she concluded her two-minute speech. ‘God bless you all for standing in solidarity together through this dark chapter.’
While she’s tried to steer clear of politics, Ivanka has still made sure to remain involved in philanthropy.
In October, she was appointed to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund Advisory Board – a $100 million project partially funded by the sale of 2026 World Cup tickets.
The president’s daughter proudly shared the news on her Instagram story, while listing other board members, including The Weeknd and Shakira – who have both been critical of the Republican leader.

Along with the two artist’s and Ivanka, other stars, including Hugh Jackman, have joined the board.
Professional athletes Serena Williams and former Brazilian soccer player Kaka are also a part of it, along with Jim Damare, the Co-President of Bank of America and Gianni Infantino, the president of Fédération Internationale de Football Association.
The group will use their own personal experience to help guide and ensure the fund ‘achieves maximum impact’ ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer.
The goal is to raise $100 million to go toward education efforts. Global Citizen aims to help 100,000 children across more than 200 countries across the world.
The FIFA World Cup final is set for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
