FORMER President Donald Trump claimed he is “trying to save American democracy” before hinting at a 2024 presidential run at an America First rally last night.

“We’re going to take back the House, and we’re going to take back the Senate,” he said before insisting, “I’m the one that’s trying to save American democracy.”

Trump didn’t shy away from ripping into Biden as he addressed swarms of MAGA supporters at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington, Ohio, during his first rally since leaving office.

He claimed Biden is “embarrassing the US”, claiming his Make America Great Again movement is built on “common sense.”

Trump then hinted at a run for office in 2024 at the rally.

“We won the election twice and it’s possible we’ll have to win it a third time. It’s possible,” he told the crowd.
