Trump to make big Oval Office surprise announcement

Donald Trump will make an announcement at the White House on Tuesday afternoon.

It marks his first public remarks in exactly a week after he held a 3 hour and 17 minute open press Cabinet meeting.

The president’s upcoming appearance is set to counter wild speculations suggesting that Trump might be ill or even deceased, despite being spotted playing golf for three consecutive days during the Labor Day weekend.

While details of the ‘exciting announcement’ remain confidential, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt informed the Daily Mail that it will have a connection to the Department of Defense.

For weeks, Trump has suggested he might deploy the National Guard to combat crime in liberal U.S. cities, similar to his actions in Washington, D.C., with crime-ridden Chicago potentially becoming the next focus.

It’s unclear who, if anyone, will be joining Trump for the Oval Office announcement.

On Friday, the hashtag ‘whereistrump’ went viral on social media amid conspiracies he was ailing or deceased.

It came after reporters noted how the president had not been seen publicly for days following the monster Cabinet meeting last Tuesday.

The hashtag 'whereistrump' trended on social media after Trump disappeared from public eye for days after his Cabinet meeting last week. But the president was seen on the south lawn of the White House on Saturday heading out for a round of golf with his granddaughter Kai

Social media saw the hashtag ‘whereistrump’ trending after Trump was absent from public view for several days following his Cabinet meeting last week. Nevertheless, he was observed on the White House’s south lawn on Saturday, ready for a golf outing with his granddaughter Kai.

Rumors about Trump’s health intensified when conspiracy theorist Alex Jones urged prayers for him amid an unverified ‘health crisis.’

On Truth Social, Trump dispelled the rumors by claiming on Sunday he’s ‘never felt better in my life.’

Jones was replying to a post by well-known pro-MAGA figure DC Draino, who criticized these conspiracies and pointed out former President Joe Biden’s tendency to skip public appearances for several days.

‘President Trump puts in more public work hours than any other POTUS in US history and media freaks out if he disappears for 24 hours,’ he said of the ‘comical double standard.’

Trump was originally scheduled to go to his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club over Labor Day weekend.

Instead, he stayed in Washington, D.C. for the holiday weekend and went to his club in Sterling, Virginia.

Unfounded rumors about Trump’s health went into overdrive after Vice President J.D. Vance told USA Today he was ready to step in for Trump if ‘If there’s a terrible tragedy,’ which is the main purpose of any VP.

On Saturday morning Trump, 79, was spotted heading to golf with his granddaughter Kai, 18. Her younger brother Spencer, 13, was also seen with their grandfather for a day at the northern Virginia course.

The pictures put to rest online chatter about the president’s health and whereabouts.

Political consultant Fred Wellman accused the White House of allegedly misleading the public with a week-old golf photo meant to disprove health rumors, calling it ‘insane.’

However, photographers also snapped images of Trump heading out for a second day of golf on Sunday and again on Labor Day on Monday.

On Sunday, Trump ditched his grandkids for a different golfing partner – former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden. White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles was also at the club on Sunday.

Trump has visited his Northern Virginia country club 21 times during his second term so far.

The president’s last public event was last Tuesday when he and his Cabinet spoke to the press for more than three hours.

The next day, Trump had a closed-press meeting with his son-in-law Jared Kushner, former British prime minister Tony Blair and Israeli official Ron Dermer to discuss a post-war plan for Gaza.

On Friday, his press team said Trump had policy meetings and a media interview before the holiday weekend.

Middle Trump son Eric responded to claims his father had died by posting to X: ‘The radical left is so sick and twisted.’

Increased speculation about the 79-year-old president’s health came after Karoline Leavitt revealed in July that he has ‘chronic venous insufficiency.

Trump’s physician wrote in a memo on the diagnosis that it is ‘benign and common.’

The condition causes ‘mild swelling’ in Trump’s lower legs, and people with the ailment are advised to lose weight, walk for exercise and elevate their legs. Some are told to wear compression socks.

Additionally, Trump has been seen on multiple occasions with dark bruising on his hand.

Other times there’s obvious globs of foundation and cover-up applied to the same area of his hand where the bruises were previously seen.
