Former President Donald Trump has once again threatened legal action over allegations linking him to visits to Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious private island.
On Monday afternoon, Trump took to Truth Social to vehemently deny claims made at the Grammy Awards by former Daily Show host Trevor Noah. Earlier, Trump had warned of a lawsuit against Noah for joking about the alleged visit.
“I was never friends with Jeffrey Epstein,” Trump asserted, “and according to newly released information from the Department of Justice, Epstein, along with a deceitful ‘author’ named Michael Wolff, plotted against me and my presidency.”
Michael Wolff, who gained notoriety for his 2018 book, “Fire and Fury,” chronicling Trump’s presidency, has frequently been in Trump’s crosshairs.
Emails that have surfaced from Epstein’s correspondence suggest Wolff once proposed to Epstein that he could be instrumental in derailing Trump’s 2016 campaign.
Recently, Trump has also indicated intentions to sue Wolff.
‘So much for the Radical Left’s hope against hope, some of whom I’ll be suing,’ Trump continued.
‘Additionally, unlike so many people that like to “talk” trash, I never went to the infested Epstein island but, almost all of these Crooked Democrats, and their Donors, did,’ Trump added.
President Donald Trump again threatened to sue over claims that he ever went to serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s private island
President Donald Trump fired off a Truth Social post Monday afternoon blasting those who have falsely claimed that he ever traveled to Jeffrey Epstein’s island
There is no proof that Trump ever traveled to Epstein’s infamous island, however, there is documentation that the president traveled onboard Epstein’s private jet.
During Sunday’s Grammy Awards, Noah joked that Trump’s interest in Greenland because ‘with Epstein’s island gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.’
Trump took to Truth Social overnight Monday to bash the Grammys, calling them ‘virtually unwatchable!’
‘The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards,’ Trump wrote. ‘Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.’
He called Noah a ‘total loser.’
‘I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$,’ Trump wrote, telling the comedian to look at other lawsuits that have brought the president large settlements.
‘Ask Little George Slopadopolus, and others, how that all worked out,’ he said. ‘Also ask CBS! Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!’
