Bondi was present at the White House to witness Trump’s address concerning the Iran conflict. Prior to this, she joined the president at the Supreme Court to observe oral arguments in a significant case regarding birthright citizenship.

While the White House did not directly confirm the report, they referred The Post to a statement from the president, who commended Bondi.

“Attorney General Pam Bondi is a wonderful person and she is doing a good job,” President Trump remarked.

Although an official announcement is pending, speculation has been circulating for months that Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin might be a contender for Bondi’s successor.

A rep for the former congressman from New York did not comment on whether Trump had spoken to Zeldin on a possible new job.

Semafor on Thursday first reported that Bondi had been told her time was running out as Trump’s top prosecutor.
