A sitting United States Senator has targeted one of President Trump’s most visible outside advisors after she got involved in his business.
Virginia Senator Mark Warner, a Democrat and vice chairman of the Intelligence Committee, planned a discreet visit for a discussion session at a government agency when Laura Loomer learned about it.
Warner intended to visit the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in his home state of Virginia on Friday. However, Loomer started making what the senator referred to as ‘baseless attacks’ against him and the NGA’s director, Vice Admiral Trey Whitworth, online, according to Warner.
The senator remarked that the Trump administration appointees’ decision to cancel what he described as a standard meeting was ‘nakedly political’ and undermined the committed, unbiased staff at NGA, as well as challenged the civilian oversight principle crucial for national security.
Warner criticized the Trump administration for heeding Loomer, saying they appeared eager to appease a right-wing figure known for her history of extreme and outlandish views, such as 9/11 denial, anti-Muslim harassment campaigns, and links with white supremacists.
Loomer reacted to Warner’s remarks about her involvement by reposting his thread on X with the comment, ‘Cry more, bi***. @MarkWarner.’
On Wednesday, Loomer escalated her criticisms of Warner, asserting that he has ‘no business meeting with Intel heads under the Trump admin.’
‘You have shown you can’t be trusted with US intelligence because you’re a partisan hack. Now you’re crying like a bi*** on X because you got Loomered. There is a zero tolerance policy for traitors like you under this Trump administration,’ Loomer added in a post on X on Wednesday afternoon.

This latest move underscores Loomer’s influence in shaping the Trump agenda, adding to her past successes.
She has reportedly been behind nearly a dozen ousts of so-called ‘deep state’ officials, which she says have been harmful to the administration.
Trump reportedly fired multiple officials on the White House National Security Council after an April meeting with Loomer.
But another recent incident, the rehiring of HHS leader Vinay Prasad, was one that Loomer called ‘demoralizing’ and an ‘open disrespect of the MAGA base’ after she originally pushed for his ouster.
Loomer also split with Trump earlier this week on a major move regarding immigration, which mirrors the national security concerns she has raised in her attacks on Warner.

Trump told reporters on Monday that he plans to expand the number of Chinese students admitted to U.S. universities by up to 600,000 people per year.
‘We’re going to allow their students to come in. It’s very important – 600,000 students,’ Trump said.
But Loomer went off on Trump’s idea, asserting that it undermined the administration’s entire immigration approach.
‘If we are only mass deporting 1,000 illegals each day but allowing 600,000 Chinese spies to come to our country, how can we call them mass deportations,’ Loomer wrote on X at the time.
