Two people are critically injured after small plane crashes on bridge in Miami 

At least two people are in critical condition and another four injured after a small plane crashed into a car on a bridge in Miami.

The two were transported to Ryder Trauma Center with burn injuries, according to NBC Miami.  

The plane crashed on the bridge near Haulover Park around 12.50pm on Saturday, according to the Miami Herald.

At least 25 fire rescue units were on the scene. A fire as well as a huge plume of  smoke can be seen rising from the debris. 

Footage from the scene shows the plane in pieces on the causeway bridge, while a red minivan is completely destroyed nearby.
