Several small towns in South Australia have unexpectedly become entangled in the aftermath of the Epstein scandal, following unfounded allegations made by a local woman. She accused numerous prominent individuals and locals of being involved with the late Jeffrey Epstein in a purported sex trafficking operation.
These unverified accusations surfaced in a collection of documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice. The woman, whose identity remains confidential, reportedly contacted American law enforcement officials approximately three years ago with her claims.
In an email addressed to U.S. authorities in June 2022, the woman alleged that she had been victimized by Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, starting at the age of 14. At the time, she resided in Port Pirie, a town situated roughly 220 kilometers north of Adelaide.
She further implicated several people from Port Pirie and a neighboring town, accusing them of various crimes, including grooming minors, fraud, money laundering, blackmail, corruption, and even plotting to murder her.
The information released consists of heavily annotated copies of emails, photographs, medical records, text messages, and letters addressed to politicians, all containing handwritten notes that attempt to connect different individuals and events.
Despite the seriousness of the allegations, they were never corroborated, and U.S. authorities did not respond to her correspondence.
Additional documents that do not form part of the woman’s email further claim a victim’s dog was raped, and referenced ‘targeted victims’ in Port Pirie, along with other SA towns.
The Daily Mail does not suggest the individuals named in the documents are involved in any wrongdoing, or that they had anything to do with Epstein or Maxwell.

In her email to US authorities in 2022, the woman said: ‘I have been a targeted victim in Australia since the age of 14.
‘[I] am currently self isolating for my own protection from sexual targeting and conspired attempts on my life through medical industries and individuals involved, including police sources.’
‘I have been denied investigations and assistance for nine years.’
She further claimed that she had evidence of crimes committed against her, including ‘destruction of my career over a 30 year period, fraudulent activity, money laundering, sexual targeting involving grooming, [and] police targeting.’
Attached documentation showed she had contacted a number of politicians and media outlets from 2020, asking them to meet with her and launch an investigation into her alleged abusers.
No politicians met with her, according to the documents.
She also included copies of text messages, claiming it was evidence of corruption in Kadina.
Further documents that specifically mention the same small SA towns also allege Centrelink, utilities companies, Telcos, credit unions, banks, real estate agencies, and councils are associated with ‘organised targeted crime’.

Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year prison sentence for a range of child sex trafficking charges
The documents were released after the Epstein Files Transparency Act was passed by the US Congress and signed into law by US President Donald Trump.
Since then, about 3.5 million pages of documents relating to Epstein have been released, shedding further light on his network of contacts in business, politics and the media.
More than 2000 videos and 180,000 images have also been released.
For decades, Epstein maintained friendly relationships with high-ranking officials and was reportedly involved in intelligence and influence activities.
Epstein was jailed for soliciting sex with minors and committed suicide in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on more serious charges of sex trafficking of minors.
Maxwell is serving serving a 20-year prison sentence after being found guilty in 2021 on charges including sex trafficking of a minor.
