Caprice has shared her secrets to maintaining her stunning figure, choosing to leave behind the use of weight loss injections.

At 54, the model is renowned for her enviable physique. Earlier this year, she disclosed that she had been prescribed Mounjaro after noticing a 20-pound weight gain.

Caprice admitted that her figure had shifted from a size 8 to a 12 due to indulging in a diet heavy on chocolate and red wine, stepping away from her usual healthy lifestyle.

Despite taking only a ‘microdose’ of Mounjaro, she soon experienced unwelcome side effects, including heart palpitations and trouble climbing stairs.

In her latest revelation, Caprice detailed her more balanced approach to weight management. She told the Daily Mail that she now hits the gym thrice a week, focusing on weight lifting with her personal trainer.

She emphasized, “Mounjaro just wasn’t the solution for me, but I made changes to my life and diet,” highlighting her commitment to a healthier path.

Caprice continued: ‘I don’t eat complex carbohydrates like pastas and breads, I can’t even remember the last time I had them – and that’s when I really shed the weight.

‘The big thing about Mounjaro as well, even if it worked for me, if I came off it, you’re going to gain the weight.

‘So you’ve got to change your lifestyle, I now have a habit of not eating the wrong foods.’

Assuring that she still allows herself the odd treat, she continued: ‘Every now and then of course I’ll have a candy bar because I’m craving it, and that’s OK.

‘But for the most part, I don’t crave it anymore. That first month of cutting down is so difficult, but once you get past that, you don’t crave it anymore.

‘I try not have refined sugar but I do have honey.’

Describing her typical diet, Caprice – who is vegetarian – revealed: ‘I take plenty of vitamins in the morning and then for breakfast  I’ll have some fruit. I love pomegranates, they’re so good for your gut.

‘And then for lunch I have vegetables, and I always have an avocado every single day, and I love salads and soups.

‘I don’t really snack all day long but when I need a pick me up I’ll eat nuts – I love Brazilian nuts, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, pecans.’

Caprice has just released A Scottish Christmas Secret on Channel 5, her third festive film, after launching her own production company, JJLove Productions Ltd.

Speaking to the Daily Mail at her home in west London, the mother-of-two explained that she decided to take control of her own fate after being ‘stereotyped’ by casting agents.

‘It was always the “babe” roles, but I was getting older, and I’m a mum now, I don’t want to be “the babe” anymore.

‘I still do shoots like Loaded every now and again, and that can be fun. With my movies and producing, I want my kids to be proud of the way I work.’

Caprice, who shares 12-year-old sons Jax and Jett with husband Ty Comfort, continued: ‘I want them to see their mum grafting and working hard, because parents are their number one inspiration.’

The former reality star – who famously appeared on shows such as The Surreal Life and Ladies Of London – added: ‘We all know I’ve done so many toxic TV shows and I’m just done with it. This now is the ultimate. This is happiness.’
