As the year draws to a close, the elite from around the globe converge on St Barths, arriving in style aboard private jets, helicopters, and opulent superyachts, to ring in the New Year.

Among the notable figures basking in the splendor of this Caribbean paradise are U.S. tech mogul Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, along with Chloe Green, daughter of retail magnate Sir Philip Green.

The highlight of these celebrations is undoubtedly the spectacular fireworks show that lights up the night sky over Fort Oscar, with a stunning view of Gustavia Harbor below.

As the clock strikes midnight, a symphony of foghorns from the numerous megayachts creates a resounding chorus of celebration, echoing across the shimmering waters.

Bezos and Sanchez have been seen reveling at Nikki Beach, a favorite haunt for celebrities. They joined in the festivities, dancing alongside women with sparklers and even one on a motorbike, at this lively beachfront venue.

The duo’s impressive $500 million yacht, Koru, which features a wooden sculpture of Sanchez on its prow, has been spotted gracefully sailing through the inviting, azure waters.

Onshore, the 9.7 square mile volcanic island transforms into a hub of exclusive parties this time of year, with A-listers having a plethora of bashes to choose from.

According to St Barths insiders, some of the best choices for the end of 2025 include Gyp Sea, where DJ Calvin Harris will headline, Hotel Le Toiny, where Blond:ish will be playing, and Nikki Beach with DJ Diplo.

Some of the celebrities partaking in the festivities have spent the run-up to New Year’s Eve cruising around Gustavia, St Maarten, Antigua and the surrounding islands, soaking up the sun before wrapping up the holiday season in St Barths.

While many of the A-listers are seasoned professionals at navigating the island’s party scene, luxury travel advisors are available at a moment’s notice to help wealthy tourists navigate St Barths’ social circuit.

‘For nightlife, knowing where to sit matters as much as where you go,’ Henley Vazquez, Co-Founder of Fora Travel, told Forbes.

‘At Bagatelle, inside/outside seating makes all the difference, and you want to be inside. Le Café next door is equally fun, and Sella (in the former Maya’s space) starts as a great dinner and quietly turns into a party later in the evening. Book a late res!’
