In the video, Allen explained the functionality of his invention, saying, “The wheelchair brakes tend to lock the wheels, but don’t lock the chair to the ground. But with this device, that will prevent the chair from skidding at all.” His demonstration was part of the “Aging into the Future” conference held in Los Angeles, where various startups presented their forward-thinking solutions aimed at improving the quality of life for the elderly.
