The Archdiocese of Chicago hosted a celebration at Rate Field on Saturday, June 14, honoring Chicago-born Pope Leo XIV.

The event featured testimonials, musical performances, a Catholic Mass led by Cardinal Blase Cupich, and a unique video message from the pope.

More than 30,000 people gathered at Rate Field to partake in the celebration, which featured testimonials, musical performances, a Catholic Mass conducted by Cardinal Blase Cupich, and the pope’s special video message, marking his first address to an American audience.
