The calendar indicates otherwise, but Labor Day weekend traditionally signifies the unofficial conclusion of summer. In many areas, school sessions have resumed for kids, and there might even be slight changes in the weather. Regardless of the season, any time is suitable for a road trip, yet Labor Day could particularly hold appeal. It’s a three-day opportunity to jump in the car and escape before fall arrives and the most organized among us commence planning for the holidays. So, where are we considering headed, and equally important, what tunes accompany us on this journey? I sought the opinions of some of the RedState crew.

On Thursday, Bob Hoge from RedState celebrated another achievement by President Donald Trump. Gas prices this Labor Day weekend are at their lowest since before the COVID-19 pandemic. An impressive accomplishment indeed, likely something Democrats claimed was impossible, and yet, here we are. What better justification for a road trip adventure?
