Truth will set you free: AG Pam Bondi must release all the Epstein files, no more excuses

Attorney General Pam Bondi is under pressure to release the full array of investigative files on Jeffrey Epstein by December 19, a deadline that’s fast approaching in 28 days.

Just after President Donald Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, compelling the Department of Justice to disclose these records within a month, Bondi promptly revealed a new DOJ investigation. This probe targets Epstein’s associates from the Democratic camp, exploiting a legal loophole that allows withholding information pertinent to ongoing investigations.

When questioned about the investigation’s foundation, Bondi vaguely responded with, “Information that has come for, um, information. There’s new information, additional information.”

We are eager to uncover what this supposed new information entails. More so, Bondi should be examined under oath about her claims. It seems apparent this maneuver aims to conceal potentially damaging revelations from public view, defying a near-unanimous Congressional decision—a rarity akin to a unicorn. The legislation passed the House with a 427-1 vote and received unanimous approval in the Senate.

What remains hidden in those files that surpasses the already grim revelations in severity, and why is it causing such alarm for Trump? We can only speculate, but the implications are troubling.

Bondi may believe that Trump and his circle can continue to sidestep political and legal norms, but the landscape has shifted. They can no longer dismiss these demands as partisan attacks. Even their own supporters, many of whom thrive on conspiracy theories, are clamoring for transparency.

Trump and his MAGA allies in the media loved feeding their voters conspiratorial slop when it was distracting them from broken political promises or serving to attack political rivals, but it turns out that there are some real-life conspiracies out there that Trump and his circle of elites actually do not want to have brought to light.

You can’t, however, spend years insinuating that you’re the only person who can stop shadowy groups of wealthy and well-connected pedophiles and then expect your followers to go along as their supposed savior goes to extreme lengths to paper over the available evidence concerning the most famous and well-documented elite pedophile cabal in the world.

On the prospect that prominent Democrats might be in the mix, Sen. Chris Murphy, a Democrat, had the exact right response: “so what?” It is not and should not be a partisan issue to bring to the fore all the available evidence on the horrific crimes of Epstein and his collaborators, who must all be held accountable.

Enough is enough. Trump has tried every way he can to prevent, slow-roll and distract from the Epstein files, and he has lost. Every additional maneuver will only continue to heighten interest in what’s in the documents, plus now serve as additional violations of the law. Bondi must release the documents in full with redactions only for things like child abuse material, and she must do it imminently, as the law commands.
