NEW YORK — According to officials, an Air Canada aircraft had an incident with a Port Authority vehicle shortly after landing at LaGuardia Airport.
The New York Police Department verified the incident; however, further details were not available at the moment.
A representative from the New York City Fire Department stated that firefighters were dispatched following reports of an aircraft striking a vehicle on the runway at 11:38 p.m. Further information has yet to be released.
The Federal Aviation Administration’s National Airspace System website indicated that LaGuardia Airport has been temporarily closed.
