Dramatic footage showed the scene of a home consumed by fire following a small plane crash that occurred Saturday afternoon near Minneapolis.
According to a representative for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), at approximately 12:30 p.m., a SOCATA TBM7 aircraft went down in a neighborhood in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
The FAA spokesperson mentioned, “The number of individuals on board has not been determined yet,” and stated that both the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the incident.
The plane departed from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was headed to Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis, according to the agency.

“My team is in touch with local officials on the scene in Brooklyn Park and we are monitoring the situation closely,” Walz wrote in a post on X.
“Grateful to the first responders answering the call.”
