Alina Habba’s fawning interview with Andrew Tate has Ben Shapiro begging Donald Trump’s MAGA movement to dump the controversial influencer.

Earlier this week, a Romanian court lifted a house arrest order against the internet personality, though he still faces accusations of forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking, trafficking of minors, sexual intercourse with a minor and money laundering. Tate has denied all wrongdoing.

Habba, who is slated to serve as counselor to the president in his second term, praised Tate for fighting the establishment, saying the charges against him were similar to those Trump faced.

‘I think that your anger is the same that President Trump has for our country, and the time is now for us to stop being wimps,’ she said on The Benny Show, hosted by conservative commentator Benny Johnson.

She added that she sympathizes with Tate because he goes through ‘a lot of the same [stuff] that President Trump has gone through.’

‘There is literally only one person with the same amount of anger and fire. That’s probably me and President Trump. But it’s because you love what’s right and you’re being under siege. And I see it and just keep fighting, I mean I’m here for it!’

Tate responded in kind and added that if he ever makes it to America and needs a lawyer, he’ll be calling Habba.

That set off alarm bells with Shapiro, who posted his own show Monday with the headline: ‘The Right Should DUMP Andrew Tate.’

Shapiro denied that Tate and Trump were similar and went on to explain this differences between their cases.

‘Andrew Tate is at best a crap sandwich. He presents totally differently to different audiences.’

He claimed that Tate will switch his views depending on who he’s talking to: sometimes a ‘low-rent, anti-feminist talking head,’ at other times ‘an anti-Semitic radical who’s willing to violate any taboo for the fringes.’

Shapiro then slammed Tate for his behavior toward women, accusing him of making money off of girls performing on ‘sex cams’ among other things and being caught on video talking about beating women.

In the end, what he really is, is a con artist. And he’s actually kind of an evil con artist,’ Shapiro said.

He continued in the 24-minute clip, believing Tate to be a ‘pimp, a pornographer’ and a man who ‘made his money grooming women for the sex industry.’

Shapiro compared Tate to the British ‘grooming gangs’ scandal and said Tate engaged in similar behavior.

‘He literally made millions of dollars doing this thing.’

Habba – who has yet to respond to Shapiro – started advising Trump on legal matters in 2021.

She reportedly became acquainted with the former president at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club as her law firm, Habba Madaio & Associates, is located nearby.

In the lead-up to the 2024 election, Habba became a MAGA mainstay, defending Trump through TV appearances and becoming a popular figure at his rallies.

‘She’s morphed into one of [Trump’s] most trusted advisers,’ a source shared with DailyMail.com earlier this month.

It remains unclear if she will continue to stay in touch with Tate, one of the internet’s most controversial men.

Tate has been under house arrest since August when prosecutors started a second criminal investigation against him, his brother Tristan and four other suspects.

A first criminal case against Tate failed in December when the Bucharest court of appeals ruled not to put Tate on trial but rather send the case back to prosecutors.

The decision, which cited flaws in the indictment, dealt a blow to Romania’s anti-organized crime prosecuting unit DIICOT.

On Tuesday, judges lifted the house arrest measure as part of the second criminal investigation.

‘This ruling marks a decisive step forward, granting [Tate] the freedom to travel throughout Romania while adhering to the required legal conditions,’ his representatives said.

Under the lighter preventative measure, known as judicial control, Tate is required to check in with police at regular intervals and is not allowed to contact other suspects or witnesses in his case. He cannot leave Romania.

The Tate brothers, both former kickboxers with dual U.S. and British citizenship, are the highest profile suspects facing trial for human trafficking in Romania.

They also have a British arrest warrant and will be extradited after Romanian trial proceedings finish, a court ruled in March.
