Marc Anthony and his wife, Nadia Ferreira, have joyfully announced the gender of their upcoming addition to the family, a revelation coming two months after they shared the news of her pregnancy.

The 57-year-old renowned salsa artist and his 26-year-old wife, a celebrated pageant queen, are thrilled to be expecting a baby girl.

The exciting announcement was made through a series of photos posted on Instagram this past Friday. In the images, the happy family is seen aboard a boat, dressed in matching blue outfits, celebrating the upcoming arrival.

‘A surprise full of love… God through it all,’ read the caption of the couple’s joint post, translated from Spanish.

In the charming snapshots, Ferreira is shown holding a pair of tiny pink shoes, a delightful hint at their baby’s gender, while Anthony lovingly embraces her growing baby bump.

Adding to the family moment, their two-year-old son, Marco, appears in one of the photos, gazing with wonder at his future sister’s little pink booties.

Ferreira, radiating elegance, shows off her blossoming belly in a chic two-piece knit ensemble, consisting of a cropped sweater and a flowing maxi skirt.

She accentuated her hips with a two-tier gold chain featuring small beach-themed charms including a starfish, shells, and seahorse.

Her long, dark hair flowed down her back and she looked serene in the images taken on a sunny day at sea.

For his part, Anthony was dressed in a button-up shirt, navy blue shorts, and a matching baseball cap.

In addition to his kids with Ferreira, the singer-songwriter has six other children from past relationships.

He shares son Chase, 35, and daughter Arianna, 31, with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado.

His sons Cristian, 25, and Ryan, 22, are shared with ex-wife Dayanara Torres.

And Anthony, born Marco Muñiz, shares twins Emme and Max, 18, with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

Anthony wed Ferreira in January 2023 following an eight-month engagement.

The couple hosted a swanky, star-studded ceremony at the Perez Art Museum in Miami.

The wedding was not attended by Lopez nor their twins Emme and Max.

Miami Mayor Francis X. Suarez acted as the wedding officiant, and the nuptials were attended by famous faces including Maluma, David Beckham, and Romeo Santos. 

Other big name guests included Salma Hayek, Lin Manuel Miranda, and Luis Fonsi.

Beckham was one of the singer’s best men, along with close friend Carlos Slim, who also stood by his side.

Marc’s sons Cristian and Ryan were both in attendance for their father’s special day. 

Ferreira was crowned Miss Paraguay in 2021 and finished as first runner-up in the Miss Universe Pageant, falling behind India’s Harnaaz Sandhu.
