“No news can undo the tremendous damage inflicted on the Brink family last weekend, but this arrest brings comfort and assurance to our state. I commend the Arkansas State Police, Park Rangers, local law enforcement, and others who have tirelessly worked since the weekend to apprehend this suspect,” Governor Sanders stated. “I urge Arkansans to offer prayers of gratitude for the courageous men and women of law enforcement – and extend prayers of sympathy to the victims of this appalling crime. Let there be no misunderstanding – violent crime is not accepted in Arkansas. If you attack innocent individuals, law enforcement will pursue you relentlessly and bring you to justice.”
The FBI assisted with the investigation.
