Officials reported that one suspect displayed a piece of paper accompanied by an unspecified sum of money, propositioning one child with the words, “Hey kid, do you want some money?”

Meanwhile, the other suspect allegedly offered, “Want to get some candy from inside this van?”

The suspects, both male with undisclosed ages, were seen standing beside a white cargo van devoid of windows. Notably, the vehicle bore rust marks on the fender close to the tires.

Describing their appearances, police noted that one suspect was distinguishable by his black and gray hair, a black baseball cap, a short-sleeved black t-shirt, white jeans, and black Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. The second suspect opted for a completely black attire.

Area Four detectives asked anyone with information to call them at 312-746-8251 or submit an anonymous tip at CPDTIP.com using reference RD# JJ528195.
