Attorney weighs in on family's rage after Kaylee Goncalves' sister scorches 'stupid, clumsy' killer Kohberger

Kaylee Goncalves’ elder sister, Alivea Stevenson, delivered a scathing address to Idaho student murderer Bryan Kohberger during a court session on Wednesday morning, as he sat in shackles with a blank expression.

The murderer remained largely unresponsive, even when Stevenson urged him, “sit up straight when I talk to you.” She continued, without restraint, using terms the defense attempted to restrict from the trial after his plea deal – labeling him “Sociopath, psychopath, murderer.”

“The reality is you are as idiotic as they come. Foolish, awkward, sluggish, sloppy, feeble, filthy. Let me be very clear. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you mattered simply because your name was finally mentioned. I see through you. Want the truth? Here’s the one you’ll loathe the most. If you hadn’t attacked them while they were asleep in the middle of the night, like a coward, Kaylee would have kicked your f—— a–.”

Supporters in the gallery applauded when Stevenson stepped away from the mic. The court called a recess a few minutes later, after her mother also delivered a statement.

During the break, Brett Payne, one of the lead detectives on the case, gave Stevenson a supportive pat on the shoulder.
