In an urgent appeal to the public, federal and local authorities have announced a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to the capture of a suspect involved in a tragic shooting incident in Brockton, Massachusetts. The suspect, Davinci Leonard, is being sought in connection with the killing of two individuals outside a Chipotle restaurant in March.
The U.S. Marshals Service in the District of Massachusetts has charged Leonard, who is 23 years old, with two counts of first-degree murder. In addition to these serious charges, he faces accusations of carrying a firearm without a license, possessing a loaded weapon without a license, holding ammunition without a firearm identification card, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.
The incident occurred on the evening of March 22, 2025, when the Brockton Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting outside the Chipotle. Upon arrival, emergency responders found a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman, both suffering from severe gunshot wounds.
Despite the swift response, the young boy was pronounced dead after being rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital. Meanwhile, the young woman was transported by air to Massachusetts General Hospital, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities have labeled Leonard as armed and dangerous, underscoring the urgency of locating him. The U.S. Marshals Service is leading the search and is urging anyone with information to come forward, offering a monetary incentive for details that could lead to his arrest.
Both victims were taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital, where the 15-year-old died. The 18-year-old was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital, where she also later died of her injuries.
An investigation by detectives with the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and Brockton Police Department led to Leonard being identified as the suspected shooter.
