A tragic incident has unfolded in Illinois, where a 14-year-old girl was allegedly murdered by a repeat offender after being reported missing on Friday, as confirmed by officials.

The Illinois State Police informed Fox News Digital that the young girl, identified by her biological mother Megan Zeller as Kylie Toberman, was killed in Vandalia on Friday.

In connection with the teenager’s death, Arnold Rivera was apprehended and faces charges including first-degree murder, aggravated criminal sexual assault, and concealment of a homicidal death, according to a spokesperson from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

As reported by KSDK, Zeller mentioned that her daughter was discovered inside an RV situated behind the residence where Kylie had been staying.
