JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the community to find a vehicle linked to a hit-and-run incident that took place on April 21 on Firestone Road close to 103rd Street.
JSO reports that a 24-year-old man was hit by a black SUV, which was identified through surveillance footage shown here. Authorities urge anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about the driver to contact 904-630-0500.
According to JSO, the collision left the victim with critical injuries. The SUV was last observed making a left turn onto Harlow Boulevard shortly after the incident.
JSO does not believe the vehicle sustained any visible damage.
Anyone with information can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward by contacting First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS. If you don’t have information, JSO encourages you to share the video to help spread awareness.
