Authorities are making arrangements to return Nancy Guthrie’s residence in the Tucson area back to her family, according to sources who spoke with NBC News on Wednesday.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona confirmed to Fox News Digital that federal prosecutors were present at the 84-year-old’s property on Wednesday. Their visit was to assist the FBI in carrying out a “routine legal process.”
Federal agents spent several hours at the residence that afternoon, and multiple vehicles were observed coming and going from the driveway during this time.

Nancy Guthrie vanished from her Tucson home in the early hours of February 1, with investigators considering her disappearance a likely abduction.
The missing person is the mother of Savannah Guthrie, a well-known anchor from the “TODAY” show, who was reported missing on February 1.
This is a developing story; please stay tuned for more updates.
