Oscars red carpet: What it takes for celebrities to get picture perfect for Hollywood's Biggest Night

The Oscars represent a glamorous fusion of cinema and style, where talent is celebrated and unforgettable red carpet appearances are crafted.

Each moment becomes a part of history, captured in both awards and iconic photographs.

Joelle Garguilo, an entertainment journalist, embarked on a quest to uncover the behind-the-scenes secrets that stars rely on to get ready for a prestigious event like the Oscars.

Dr. Dendy Engelman, associated with the Shafer Clinic, revealed she has been preparing several Oscar attendees, maintaining a busy schedule for the past six months.

“People are gearing up,” Engelman explained. “They’re engaging in body toning and skin tightening procedures.”

She also disclosed the insights her celebrity clients share during their visits.

“I need to look perfect without looking done, head to toe perfection, you would be shocked,” Engelman said.

As for the most requested treatment at the moment?

“The tight jawlines with the Everest, get them snatched and lifted, and the best thing is I can do it, and they can walk to get their makeup done right away,” said Lucia Miranda with Shafer Clinic.

As for the body, the team does muscle building and toning.

When it comes to the dress, long gone are the days of getting a gown off the rack.

Designers like Natalie De’Banco of Bronx & Banco work with celebrities and their stylists to create a custom look – often down to the last minute.

She has dressed the likes of Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus. When asked how long she typically has to prepare when working with a celebrity, she said a month if you are lucky.

“So if you came to me and you asked for a red carpet gown, that’s basically what we create,” she said.

As the pictures of the stars immediately pop up on social media, De’Banco said it’s marketing that you cannot buy.

In today’s digital age, you have to know how to make it all work when the cameras are flashing.

That’s where image consultant and posing instructor Britney Hayles comes in.

“Practice makes perfect,” Hayles said. “Looking at the cameras in front and to the side. And when you’re done posing, you have a little wave.”

And while some secrets are meant to be shared, one lesson to be learned is looking effortless certainly takes a lot of effort.
