4 thieves steal Gucci handbags worth $30K in daylight smash-and-grab at Woodbury Commons in NY

In a brazen act of daylight robbery, a group of four thieves made off with more than a dozen luxury handbags from a high-end shopping center in New York. These audacious criminals, three men and a woman believed to be connected to other similar thefts, executed their heist at the Gucci store within the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets on April 16, making away with an estimated $30,000 worth of merchandise.

The quartet stormed into the store with a clear agenda, immediately setting about smashing the display cases near the entrance. They quickly grabbed as many handbags as they could, deftly removing the cable sensors before making their escape, as reported by Northjersey.com.

Employees at the store were left in shock, with one visibly upset worker expressing her frustration by hurling profanities as the thieves made their getaway. “F—k those people!” she shouted, according to a video captured by The Post.

Amid the chaos, a customer attempted to intervene, grabbing the strap of a white handbag as it fell from the display case. However, concerned store attendants quickly ushered her away, allowing the thieves to seize the scattered goods from the floor, as shown in footage obtained by News 12.

“F—k those people!” one woman jeered, according to a video obtained by The Post.

A customer tried to intervene as the bags tumbled out of the display case. She managed to grab the strap of a white handbag, but was tugged away by the concerned attendants while the thieves lunged for the goods scattered across the floor, according to another video obtained by News 12.

The suspects fled in a rented white Jeep that they wound up ditching after evading police during a brief pursuit in Newark, New Jersey, Northjersey.com reported.

The cops had to abandon the chase for the safety of other drivers as traffic piled up. The high-end thieves, meanwhile, drove recklessly and even vaulted onto the sidewalk at certain points while outpacing police, News 12 reported.

All four suspects are still at large. Police in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania are all on the lookout.

The lone woman involved has several outstanding warrants out for her arrest linked to almost a dozen robberies across the tristate area, the outlet reported. None of the suspects has been publicly identified.
