On Sunday, a Frontier Airlines flight was diverted to a secluded runway at Atlanta’s airport after a passenger allegedly issued a bomb threat. This triggered a swift response from law enforcement, although the threat was later assessed as non-credible.
The incident occurred on Frontier Flight 2539, which was arriving from Columbus, Ohio. Just as the plane was taxiing towards the gate at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, a passenger reportedly made the alarming verbal threat.
In response, and following procedures in collaboration with local authorities, the aircraft was directed to a remote area of the airport where law enforcement officials conducted a thorough examination.

Visuals captured by FOX 5 Atlanta showed a Frontier plane taking off from the Atlanta airport. Meanwhile, passengers aboard Flight 2539 disembarked via airstairs and were transported to the terminal by bus.
Following the investigation, officials concluded that the threat was not credible. Nonetheless, the FBI and Atlanta Police Department have confirmed to Fox News that the matter is still under investigation, with the Atlanta Police Department leading the inquiry.

Atlanta police would not say whether anyone has been arrested.
