Police officers removing disruptive passengers from an airplane.

THIS is the dramatic moment a Brit was carried off a Ryanair flight by cops – after a mid-air brawl forced the plane to divert.

Stunned passengers on the Corfu-bound jet watched in disbelief as Italian police stormed the aircraft and marched the woman away.

Footage obtained by the Manchester Evening News shows the woman being carried – by legs and arms – off the aircraft by officers.

She can also be seen struggling to break free from police as they escort her to the police car.

The situation escalated after two passengers, initially seated apart, decided to sit next to each other midway through a flight that left Manchester Airport at 5:30 pm on Tuesday.

Soon after, the situation deteriorated, with claims surfacing that the pair became “disruptive,” leading to an altercation that required the cabin crew to seek assistance from law enforcement, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

This forced the pilot to divert the flight to Bologna, where local cops boarded the plane and removed the pair.

After the unscheduled stop, the flight eventually resumed its journey.

The plane landed in Corfu several hours late, past its scheduled arrival of 10.40pm.

A Ryanair spokesperson explained: “The flight from Manchester to Corfu on April 29 had to make an unscheduled landing in Bologna due to two passengers behaving disruptively on board.”

“Crew called ahead for police assistance, who met the aircraft upon landing at Bologna and removed these two disruptive passengers before this flight continued to Corfu later that same night.

“Ryanair has a strict zero tolerance policy towards passenger misconduct and will continue to take decisive action to combat unruly passenger behaviour, ensuring that all passengers and crew travel in a safe and respectful environment, without unnecessary disruption.”

Shock moment flight attendants wrestle female passenger to ground after she tried to storm cockpit on plane to New York

It comes as another passenger was tackled to the ground by flight crew after she tried to break into the cockpit.

Passengers on board the New York-bound American Airlines flight watched in confusion as staff scuffled with the woman and restrained her.

Footage from inside the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner showed the cockpit door wide open while the plane was still at Brazil’s Sao Paulo airport.

Flight attendants can be seen struggling to get the door closed before a woman makes an odd intervention by trying to storm the cockpit.

The smartly-dressed passenger confronts the staff, sparking a squabble.

The crew member can be heard telling the first-class passenger: “Get out, get out.”
