A man in New York City, reportedly wearing a shirt featuring the Iranian flag, has been accused of assaulting three Jewish men while shouting slurs, according to a recent report.

The suspect, identified as 41-year-old Andrzej Wnuk from Queens, was arrested on Friday after allegedly targeting a 48-year-old, a 38-year-old, and a 21-year-old in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, as stated by the New York City Police Department. Wnuk is facing three charges of hate crime assault.

“This incident is being treated as a hate crime,” noted the Williamsburg Shomrim Safety Patrol. “We extend our gratitude to the NYPD for their efforts in maintaining community safety, and to our Shomrim volunteers for their quick action and commitment.”

The NYPD reported they answered a 911 call regarding multiple assaults, discovering three victims who reported “pain to the face.” All three individuals declined medical attention, the police disclosed in a statement to Fox News Digital on Tuesday morning.

Media outlets have identified the suspect as Andrzej Wnuk, and he was notably wearing a shirt with the Iranian flag.

Video footage from Williamsburg captured the moment a male suspect, clad in an Iranian flag shirt, was escorted into a police car while members of the local Orthodox Jewish community watched.

Sources told the New York Post that the three men were talking separately when Wnuk punched one in the back, one in the shoulder and the third in the head, while screaming “f—ing Jews.”

Police also told the New York Daily News that the attacker yelled out bigoted remarks.
