Budweiser embraced a patriotic theme in its 2026 Super Bowl commercial, perfectly aligning with the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and marking the company’s 150th milestone.

Named “American Icons,” the commercial depicts the journey of an American bald eagle growing to maturity, guided by the brand’s legendary Clydesdales, all set to the classic rock anthem “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

“In commemorating Budweiser’s 150 years and the nation’s 250th birthday, we aimed to create something truly special. ‘American Icons’ showcases our legacy through a compelling narrative featuring the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales and a symbol of American freedom, the Bald Eagle,” stated Todd Allen, Budweiser’s senior vice president of marketing at Anheuser-Busch.

Allen continued, “This year’s commercial will leave viewers inspired and proud to raise a Budweiser in celebration of these significant milestones we share.”

The advertisement was met with enthusiastic applause across social media platforms when it debuted on Tuesday, resonating with a strong sense of patriotism.

Several social media accounts celebrated the ad with patriotic enthusiasm upon its release on Tuesday.
