Two YouTube influencers from Canada who showcased their off-roading adventures died in a rollover crash on Thursday, according to reports.

Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans, who managed social media profiles under @ToyotaWorldRunners, were involved in an off-road vehicle accident on August 7 at approximately 6:30 p.m. near Trout Lake in British Columbia, Canada, as reported by The Sun.

“The rescue and recovery posed many challenges after a few hectic days,” stated Kaslo SAR manager Mark Jennings-Bates. “The difficult access, high elevation, and scarce daylight each contributed to the complexity of an already tough situation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of those involved.”

According to a press release from Kaslo SAR regarding the incident, identities were not disclosed, but it stated that after the team reached the scene, a deceased male was discovered in the vehicle, and a woman, found some distance from the crash site, was “confused and critically injured.” She was airlifted to a medical facility where she passed away later the same day.

“I apologize to everyone impacted by this. It’s a significant loss for the offroad community and a greater loss to Matthew’s and Stacey’s families and close friends,” stated Colin Stuart from Dirt Theory, according to The Sun. Stuart, who was reportedly with them during the accident, made every effort to save them.
