We’re having a flurry of information in the Paul Pelosi attack case released on Friday.

The body cam video of the attack was released and the call that Paul Pelosi made to 911 for help was released as well.

But now, the Capitol Police surveillance video of attacker suspect David DePape breaking into the Pelosi home with the hammer has also been released.

The surveillance video, the body cam, and the 911 call were ordered released by Judge Stephen Murphy pursuant to media requests. The judge also ordered interviews with DePape by the police to be released.

The surveillance video shows DePape wandering around the backyard area of the property. He goes away but then he comes back with two bags. Then he takes a hammer out of one of his bags, appears to put on gloves, and starts breaking into the glass door at the back of the house. You can see the break-in start around 5:20 on the video.

DePape then climbs through the area he busted out and into the house.

As we reported earlier, at some point after he encountered the suspect, Paul Pelosi called 911 and indicated to the operator that he was having a problem with someone in his house who was waiting for his wife, but whom he didn’t know. Pelosi seemed to be trying not to antagonize DePape, but he conveyed to the operator, “He told me not to do anything.” That’s when the operator asks for the address because she knows there’s a problem. “He’s telling me to put the phone down and do what he says,” Pelosi told the operator.

Then the police arrive and the body cam showed what happened when the door opened. DePape was there holding a hammer with his other arm also holding Pelosi. Pelosi had his hand on the hammer. The police said, “Drop the hammer!” That’s when DePape tries to pull it fully away from Pelosi and then he goes after Pelosi with the hammer.

DePape is facing state charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and elder abuse. He also faces federal charges of assaulting an immediate family member of a federal official and attempted kidnapping of a federal officer for the alleged home invasion.
