Carson Beck's late heroics propel Miami to CFP title game

Miami is set to compete for the national championship title.

In a thrilling fourth-quarter showdown, the 10th-ranked Miami Hurricanes secured a decisive lead with just 18 seconds left on the clock, thanks to a 3-yard touchdown run by quarterback Carson Beck.

The Hurricanes triumphed with a 31-27 victory over 6th-ranked Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl, held in Glendale, Arizona. This crucial win paves the way for Miami’s first appearance in the national championship game since the 2002 season.

Carson Beck had an impressive performance, amassing 268 passing yards and throwing two touchdown passes. Receiver Keelan Marion was a standout, making seven catches for 114 yards and scoring one touchdown. Malachi Toney also contributed significantly with five receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Miami now awaits the victor of the upcoming Indiana vs. Oregon matchup to determine their opponent in the championship game.
