CHICAGO (WLS) — The Chicago area is celebrating National Pizza Day with offerings that go beyond just a simple slice.
Roaring Table Brewery, located in Lake Zurich, is showcasing an expanded menu featuring three unique pizza styles crafted on-site: Chicago tavern-style, New York-style, and Detroit-style pizzas. Known for its selection of craft beers, the suburban brewery recently added these pizzas and sandwiches to its menu, curated specifically to complement their beer selection.
The establishment is co-owned by Lane Fearing, a brewer trained at the Siebel Institute, and Beth May, a graphic designer who manages the brand’s visual allure and menu layout. Since its opening in August 2017, Roaring Table has become a staple in Lake Zurich.
Beyond pizza, the taproom offers a variety of beer-friendly dishes, including sandwiches paired with freshly cut fries, a giant pretzel, and house-seasoned fries, all perfect for sharing. It’s also a prime spot for game days, featuring multiple TV screens throughout the venue.
The brewery’s upcoming events include weekly features such as “Pitchers & Pies” every Wednesday, “The Detroit Club” on Thursdays, and a Seinfeld trivia night set for February 26. They are also planning a Valentine’s Day collaboration with Après Pastry & Bakery for a special pairing event.
