LOS ANGELES — Get ready to dive back into the world of high fashion and drama, as “The Devil Wears Prada 2” is set to grace the big screen soon.
In anticipation of the much-awaited sequel, Disney hosted an extravagant early screening in Los Angeles, drawing an impressive array of celebrities. The event saw appearances from stars of popular shows like “Grey’s Anatomy” and the upcoming “Camp Rock 3.”
Adding to the excitement, the event included an “In Case of Style Emergency” pop-up kiosk, alongside photo opportunities designed for the most stylish attendees. It was a night that married the glamour of fashion with the allure of Hollywood.
During the event, On The Red Carpet had the chance to speak with some of the stars, who expressed their enthusiasm for the film.
“We’re here to celebrate fashion and honor some of our most acclaimed actors, like Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Stanley Tucci, in a fantastic story,” remarked James Pickens Jr., known for his role in “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Niko Terho, another familiar face from the series, chimed in, “I’m just really excited! Has it really been 20 years? It’s long overdue, but I’m thrilled to finally see it.”
The original film, “The Devil Wears Prada” came out in 2006.
We also spoke with Alexis Floyd, another “Grey’s” star, who tells us, “I’ve been waiting for this for what feels like a lifetime! I’m ready. We know we’re going to laugh. We know we’re going to see beautiful things, and we know we’re going to feel! What more could you want?”
The excitement didn’t stop with the “Grey’s Anatomy” cast, even the cast of the upcoming “Camp Rock 3” feature were excited to watch the film!
“I am looking forward to more amazingness that we saw in the original and hopefully bringing back some of our favorite faces. I’m very excited to see them,” Ava Jean says.
Lumi Pollack tells us she’s “excited to see the new dynamics and where the characters have been.”
