It’s been 15 long years since the Bears have advanced this far in the season, making this moment particularly significant. On Saturday evening, ABC7 will explore the city’s buzzing anticipation and discuss what the Bears need to do to keep their playoff dreams alive.

The whole city of Chicago is rallying behind their team, united in hopes of victory.

Moreover, the excitement has inspired creative expressions of fandom. A local DJ and lifelong Bears enthusiast has even penned a new song that he hopes will become the anthem of the postseason, potentially carrying the team all the way to the Super Bowl.

Stay tuned for the latest updates on the Bears’ thrilling playoff journey, including fan reactions and the ongoing search for a new stadium. The city holds its breath in anticipation of what could be a historic achievement.

DJ King Farley “Jackmaster” Funk invited fans to Daley Plaza in the Loop Saturday afternoon to be part of a music video for his song “We Are Da Bears.” He says the classic Superbowl Shuffle is meant for people who can dance.

Funk recently told ABC7’s Hosea Sanders that this song is for everyone. He says he was inspired to write the song because the Bears are winning.
