Chicago crime: Angelique Mobley, Lamon Weathers, Matthew Price charged in kidnapping of 2-year-old girl in Bronzeville, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Three people are now facing charges in the kidnapping of a 2-year-old girl in Bronzeville this week, Chicago police said.

The child has since been found safe.

Chicago police stated that the girl had been missing for several hours after being taken from a house located in the 4800 block of South Michigan Avenue around 4:50 a.m. on Wednesday.

Angelique Mobley, Lamon Weathers and Matthew Price are the suspect who have been charged, police said.

Police said this was a domestic situation and the girl was taken by her mother and two men during an armed robbery at the home.

Two of the suspects were arrested on Wednesday, and the third was arrested on Thursday, CPD said.

According to the police, Mobley faces charges of kidnapping, residential burglary, and child abduction. Weathers has been charged with aggravated armed kidnapping and home invasion with a firearm. Price is facing charges of aggravated armed kidnapping, home invasion with a firearm, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
