In Merrionette Park, Illinois, a heartfelt vigil is planned for Tuesday night as family and friends come together in support of a missing man who has not been seen for two weeks. The community hopes to shed light on the mysterious disappearance of Dan Davis, a beloved local figure.

Dan, who has been a fixture at the popular Merrionette Park bar, 115 Bourbon Street, for years, was last seen by his colleagues on November 24. His absence has left those who know him deeply concerned, spurring them into action as they search for answers.

While there have been reported sightings of Dan in nearby Blue Island, his family remains in desperate need of more information. The last confirmed sighting of Dan was on November 25, when he left the bar. Tragically, it is believed that he may have been involved in a car accident just a mile from the bar, possibly sustaining a head injury, which could have contributed to his current situation.

Adding a layer of hope and urgency, Dan’s family shared surveillance footage from the day after his disappearance. This video captures him in the vicinity of Saint Donatus Church in Blue Island, and he was also reportedly seen walking along Old Western Avenue on Wednesday.

Despite these sightings, Dan’s whereabouts remain unknown. His disappearance has prompted a relentless search effort by those closest to him, as they are determined to bring him back home safely. The community continues to rally, united by the hope of reuniting with their cherished friend and family member.

Since he has been missing, family and friends have been searching nonstop.

Dan’s loved ones gathered with the hopes he will be found safe, and soon, on Tuesday night.

“He never missed a day,” said 115 Bourbon Street owner Nick Dinovo.

After the vigil, the group will conduct a search for Dan.

Chicago police are handling the missing person case.

If you have any information or if you have seen Dan over the past couple of weeks, please contact investigators.
