As per a police report accessed by the ABC7 I-Team, the woman informed police she was awaiting a rideshare when the off-duty officer, accompanied by another woman, approached her. He is accused of demanding that she remove videos from her phone before both allegedly assaulted her.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for injuries.

The Civilian Office of Police Accountability says they are investigating the incident.

The officer is already on paid leave for the shooting earlier this year that killed Officer Rivera.
