CHICAGO (WLS) — A former Chicago Public Schools dean has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for having a sexual relationship with a student.

Brian Crowder was convicted of committing sex abuse and assault while he was the dean of Little Village Lawndale High School.

The law firm Stinar Gould Grieco & Hensley is representing the victim in the case. After the verdict was delivered last month, they released a statement expressing that the conviction of former Chicago Public Schools Dean, Brian Crowder, marks an important step towards justice.
